The editorial firewall

Our verdicts, fit scores, and “not best for” notes are never influenced by vendor status, vendor submissions, or payment. Whether a company pays us, claims its profile, or advertises has zero effect on how it ranks or what we say about it. This separation is built into our data model, not just our policy.

How we evaluate agents

• What it's genuinely best for — and what it isn't
• What it connects to (apps, models, APIs)
• Where it runs (cloud, your computer, VPS, API)
• What you actually need to start (accounts, keys, technical setup)
• Pricing, privacy, autonomy, and data-access risk

Freshness & verification

AI agents change fast. Every profile carries a verification status and a last-verified date. We mark profiles as source-verified or vendor-verified, and we welcome corrections.

How we may make money

We may earn from our own paid product tiers and, in future, clearly-labeled placements or affiliate links. None of these ever change a verdict or a score. If that ever isn't true, we'll have failed at the one thing we're here to do.
